Cade’s Story 

Cade was born in December, 1998. Shortly after birth, he was diagnosed with Tricuspid Atresia, a congenital heart defect. Due to some early complications, Cade ended up having some brain damage, lost some fingers and part of a foot. Cade shouldn’t have made it home from the hospital, but he did. After 5 heart surgeries in his short 15 years of life, Cade ended up passing away from a brain tumor.

Cade was an incredibly funny, full of life, happy, loving kid with the most incredible heart. He loved riding his quad, riding on the tractor with his dad, hitting wiffleballs, eating (especially Sushi) and playing in the snow, among so much more!

Cade’s life was cut way too short but, Cade made the most of each moment he had. In honor of Cade, CadeStrong is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to benefit special needs children’s organizations.
